The Opportunity
A growing, advice-led wealth management firm with c.£2bn AUM is seeking an experienced Chartered Financial Planner to join its London office.
The firm has built a strong reputation for long-term client relationships, technical excellence, and measured, sustainable growth. As part of its continued expansion, it is looking to appoint a high-calibre planner who combines strong technical capability with commercial drive.
This is a fully employed position offering salary, bonus and full infrastructure support — not a self-employed model.
The Role
You will:
- Provide holistic financial planning advice to HNW and UHNW individuals, families and business owners
- Manage and develop an existing client bank
- Proactively generate new business through referrals, professional introducers and personal networks
- Contribute to AUM growth in line with structured and realistic targets
- Work closely with paraplanners and investment specialists to deliver high-quality client outcomes
- Maintain ongoing client relationships, conducting regular reviews and ensuring suitability and compliance
- Uphold the firm’s strong culture of integrity, advice quality and client-first service
What They’re Looking For
- Chartered Financial Planner status (CII) — essential
- Proven experience advising HNW clients in a wealth management or private client environment
- Demonstrable track record of growing assets and developing client relationships
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, estate planning and tax-efficient structures
- Commercial mindset with the confidence to develop new business
- Professional, relationship-led approach with excellent communication skills
