Financial Advisor - Canary Wharf/Hybrid - Privately Owned - Growing Practice.
Role Description
This is a full-time Financial Advisor role with a hybrid working arrangement, our client are able to offer either employed or self employed arrangements.
The Financial Advisor will provide regulated financial advice to individual and corporate clients, conducting detailed assessments of their financial circumstances, goals, and risk profiles.
Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing financial plans across investment, retirement, protection, and tax-efficient strategies, and reviewing these plans regularly to ensure they remain aligned with client objectives.
The role involves preparing clear, compliant recommendations, maintaining accurate records, and staying up to date with regulatory and market developments. The Financial Advisor will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, contribute to client acquisition and retention activities, and uphold high standards of ethics, client care, and professionalism.
Our client are able to provide their advisors circa 30-40 inbound prospects per month via the marketing campaigns alone.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory, with experience creating tailored financial strategies for diverse clients.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments skills, including knowledge of investment products, portfolio construction, and risk management.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Retirement Planning, with the ability to design long-term retirement income and pension solutions.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent) and FCA authorization or ability to become authorized are highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation abilities.
- Proven ability to work in a regulated environment, with high attention to detail, ethical standards, and compliance with UK financial services regulations.
- Experience advising high-net-worth individuals or corporate clients, and familiarity with estate and tax planning, is an advantage.
