An established and growing wealth management practice is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join its advisory team based in the London / Gatwick / Crawley area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified adviser who is passionate about delivering high-quality independent financial advice and building long-term relationships with clients. The role offers a mix of existing client servicing and new business development, supported by a collaborative internal team including paraplanners and administrators.
You will advise clients across a range of areas including pensions, investments, protection and estate planning, delivering tailored financial strategies aligned with their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, independent financial advice across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored financial plans and regular reviews
- Clearly explain complex financial concepts and present compelling Financial Plans and client propositions
- Achieve agreed new business and income targets, identifying opportunities within new and existing clients
- Support business development initiatives and collaborate with colleagues
- Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations, internal policies, and CPD requirements
- Maintain accurate client records and high professional standards
- Work closely with paraplanners, administrators, and internal teams to deliver exceptional client service
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in financial planning or wealth management within an IFA or advisory environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and explain complex financial information.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to build strong and trusted relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- A professional, confidential, and client-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Minimum - Diploma in regulated Financial Planning or equivalent, desirable Advanced Diploma or working towards it.
