Role: Financial Adviser/Planner (Equity/Co-Owner structure)

Start: Q3 2026

Location: Essex / Hertfordshire / Cambridgeshire - Hybrid / Remote with Office Available

Authorisation: Directly authorised, independent advice firm offering Pensions, Investments, Mortgages and Protection services

The proposition

This is an opportunity for a Financial Adviser/Planner to join (and collaboratively build) anindependent financial advice businessin one of the most affluent areas of the country.

This is a primary role within the firmand there is equity/ownership as part of the offer, with a flexible approach to structuring working hours.

Clients are in place and new clients are consistently delivered with a variety of initial and ongoing advisory requirements.

Senior Operations and senior Paraplanning support is in place and SMF 3, 16 and 17 roles/responsibilities are covered. Ongoing Compliance support is provided by a national Compliance provider.

This is the first of a number of advisory businesses being set up across the country over the next 2 to 3 years and offers generous equity and returns as a result.

This is an incredible opportunity for an individual who wants to be part of something and have influence on its development, whilst at the same time create long term value for themselves. All without the risk/cost involved in setting up and running a business.

What you bring

Minimum 5 years’ experience in providing Pensions, Investments, Mortgage and Protection advice (Chartered Status preferred but not essential)
Minimum Level 4 qualified / CeMAP
A client-first, outcomes-focused approach aligned to Consumer Duty
Entrepreneurial in nature but seeks the security of regular income
Ambition to build something meaningful and sustainable
A ‘can do’ attitude to developing a business
High professional standards, ethics and integrity
