Job role: Training & Competence Officer

FCA Training & Competence Officer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that all staff are fit and proper by assisting with the annual competency requirements as defined by the FCA rules and regulations.

Skills and experience required: Training & Competence Officer

  • Diploma in Financial Planning qualified at Level 4
  • Experience of working in financial services and a good understanding of the regulatory environment in which the firm operates. This role is suited to someone with a T&C, compliance, paraplanning or financial advising background.
  • Good working knowledge of the FCA Handbook and more specifically a solid understanding of the FCA suitability requirements.
  • Significant influencing and written/oral communication skills required in relation to staff at all levels across the business.
