My client is a successful Investment group  based in London, they are widely recognised in the industry,  regularly win accolades and  offer a  dynamic and  supportive environment. This is also recognised by the low staff turnover at the company 

An opportunity has arisen for a  Regional Business Development Manager, the role will include  focusing on  the distribution of the companies products and services, which currently includes  Inheritance tax  and fund offerings. You will have the opportunity to cover either South Wales, Scotland or the South West. The role will be home based. 

The objective is to increase business levels across all aspects of the proposition, within a defined region, primarily through a combination of face-to-face and virtual meetings with financial advisers.

This is an exciting role as you will be working closely with the Sales & Marketing team and be supported by a internal Business Development Manager.

Core Job functions:

• Meeting and engaging with advisers to build and maintain relationships

• Professionally representing the  Investments brand across the tax and fund proposition

• Presenting at adviser events

• Delivering CPD content one-to-one or in groups

• Outbound telephone calls to maintain relationships and schedule meetings

• Building and developing new relationships with prospective advisory / investment firms

• Developing and enhancing existing relationships to increase business levels

• Becoming a key point of contact for all financial advisers across the region

• Providing an exceptional level of client service

• Developing a strong and effective working relationship with the internal BDM and work together to develop and manage a joint business plan for the region

• Implementing new sales and marketing campaigns

• Proactively follow-up client meetings and provide all required support to financial advisers

• Maintaining up-to-date records on our Salesforce CRM system

• Using our Salesforce CRM system (data, dashboards and capability) to segment your client base to ensure time is spent targeting and developing the right clients and prospects.

• Helping educate financial advisers to enable them to solve their clients’ needs

The ideal candidate will come from a strong business development/sales  background with experience in the wider funds market.

• Exceptional sales skills

• Based in a location where you can attend the office in London when required

• Strong and flexible work ethic

• Full UK driving licence

• Hold or working towards industry specific exams as specified from time to time
