DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE JOB SPECIFICATION MKTA-ROLE-01

The role of our Digital Marketing Exec is to work closely with our Head of Marketing to help create online content and generate leads for the business using a wide variety of channels including email campaigns, social media.

You will be creating digital campaigns under the direction of the Head of Marketing, working closely with our Graphic Designer to create industry-leading campaigns & content to engage and excite both our prospects and existing clients. We have our own in-house CRM system which you will use to create blogs, news articles and webpages, then promote these using our social media channels; Linkedin, Twitter & Facebook.

Developing and maintaining a social media content calendar, and developing ideas for ongoing content and campaigns to engage our audiences. Scheduling posts and optimizing them to get maximum impact.

You should have experience of creating paid social media adverts and experience of using Google Analytics and Adwords to monitor traffic and activity on the website to optimise the performance of our campaigns and content.

There will be occasions when the events sector reopens that you will be required to spend some nights away working at conferences and industry events around the UK, assisting the Head of Marketing and Business Development team to build event stands and engage with attendees to generate interest. You would also be creating live content and monitoring the social media channels at events, whilst engaging online with attendees.

Some experience of using Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc) would be beneficial, but you will work with our graphic designer where necessary to produce eyecatching content that is on-brand.

The role calls for strong creative skills, excellent communication & organisation skills and preferably some knowledge of the financial adviser market. We will consider a graduate.

· Salary: £17k-£25k depending on skills and experience.

· Location: Based in Henley-in-Arden with optional home working.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working alongside the Head of Marketing to create industry leading content for our website, blog and social channels
  • Coming up with ideas for engaging social content, both organic and paid
  • Working with our graphic designer to create assets and visuals for campaigns
  • Ensuring all content adheres to the company brand guidelines
  • Developing and evolving the moneyinfo brand
  • Developing the 'tone of voice' for moneyinfo
  • Reporting to the Head of Marketing on campaign performance, marketing activity, trends, competitor and market knowledge as required.
