Attivo Group is looking to recruit several Trainee Financial Planners based in Berkshire, Surrey, Kent, or surrounding areas to start in April 2020 due to our exciting expansion.

You will be based in our London office for a six-month intensive training programme, during which you will be taught all the skills required to become a successful Financial Planner including carrying out the advice process, building client relationships, and influencing and negotiation skills.

Training will also include rotational placements in both our Relationship Management and Paraplanning teams, giving you a well-rounded education in Financial Planning. Following completion of the training programme, you will begin your career as a Financial Planner with Attivo Financial Planning.

Main responsibilities

The aim of this role is to provide first-class long-term tax and financial planning services to ensure clients’ needs are satisfied compliantly and efficiently, and to maximise new business opportunities whilst retaining the Group’s growing client base.

You will be provided with full paraplanning and administration support from an office-based team, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional service to our clients. We pride ourselves on the training and development support we give our employees to attain further exams. Qualifications, skills and experience

  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning is essential however, candidates close to achieving this by April 2020 will be considered
  • experience working in Financial Planning would be an advantage
  • excellent interpersonal, listening, numerical and IT skills
  • strong analytical and research skills
  • excellent report writing and written/verbal communication skills
  • good organisational, time management, and caseload management skills
  • ability to work on own initiative, sometimes for long time periods
  • professional, ethical and discreet
  • ability to build and maintain ongoing client relationships
  • ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • full UK driving licence is essential
  • degree or equivalent in Economics, Maths, Accountancy and Finance or Business Management would be desirable
  • minimum 5 GCSEs graded A-B, including Maths and English.

Salary and benefits

Salary is up to £40,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
