Our client is actively expanding their Paraplanning team and requires a Paraplanner to join their fantastic team in their Fareham office. As part of a centralised team, you will work proactively with advisers, compliance and product providers to help design and deliver first class, client-centric solutions. The key to this role will be your ability to undertake the appropriate research to identify suitable products and solutions to suit our high net worth clients and prepare a concise recommendation and suitability reports that are accurate and FCA compliant.

As a specialist member of the team, the role will involve providing guidance on technical issues (particularly relating to pensions) to both advisers and fellow Paraplanners. This will be carried out on top of usual duties which will include the gathering and review of detailed research, and the provision of accurate, well-presented reports. To be successful in this role you will need the ability to communicate in a clear and logical format using language which can be easily understood by our customers.

Skills and experience

  • Experience working within a Paraplanning, or related role with extensive pensions knowledge
  • Level 4 Diploma
  • Knowledge of occupational transfers
  • Strong report writing and verbal /numerical skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Experience of Selectapension and O&M systems
