Our client is a well-established financial services firm who were set up in 1999 and have a proud reputation with their clients. They are based in Swansea and geographically offer coverage of the whole of the South Wales area where they are going through a growth period and acquiring further business.
The company aim to offer a complete service to meet their client’s requirements where their services cover financial planning, wealth management and retirement planning.
This position has become available due to the acquisition of a client bank in the south west Wales area and they now need a Financial Advisor to manage this new business stream. This is an exciting time join the company as they are looking to continue to grow and expand their business reach.
The ideal candidate will have their Level 4 Diploma qualification in Regulated Financial Planning and will have their SPS (Statement of Professional Standing) where you will need three years’ experience within the financial services industry. As an advisor it is not essential to have your client bank as this is provided. Additionally, they are desiring someone who has their AF3 (Defined Benefit) qualification but this is not an essential.
Strong communication skills are essential as is the ability to communicate on all levels. You will be expected to provide financial advice to both new and existing customers with professionalism and great competency.
In return our client is offering a competitive salary of £30,000 to £40,000 (dependent on experience).
