Job Description

We are representing an established firm of Chartered Financial Planners with over £140 million of assets under advice based in a picturesque village just south of Bristol.

Due to recent expansion they are now looking to recruit an experienced Financial Services Administrator/Paraplanner to support their advisers

The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of investments and pensions
  • Have or be en route to hold the Level 4 Diploma
  • Experience of utilising back office systems such as Intelligent Office
  • Have sound English and numerical skills

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing technical and administrative support to the advisers
  • Preparing client valuations and sourcing fund and investment information
  • Compilation of recommendation paperwork, including writing suitability reports
  • Preparation of relevant documents ahead of client meetings
  • Maintaining client and research records in line with procedures and compliance
  • Submitting new business via online systems where necessary
  • Undertaking product research
  • Liaising with clients, providers and professional connections by telephone and in writing
