Unividual houses one of the finest group of financial advisers and paraplanners in the industry. This is because we train people up to be the best version of themselves. Looking for a career in finance or want to move to an ambitious business that focuses on you? Then delve in to what it is like working for Unividual and what finance jobs we have.
Unividual is a chartered financial planning firm. Five years ago the business founded Unicademy, our in-house paraplanner and financial adviser training programme for aspiring chartered financial planners. Unicademy was created by Directors Cherie-Anne and Lewis Baxter to combat one of the biggest problems in financial services, an ageing financial adviser population and low numbers of highly qualified paraplanners.
On our three year training program you will work as a paraplanner whilst studying for Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualifications to become a Chartered Financial Planner. Unicademy also includes mental well-being workshops, private personal development training sessions and a mentor to coach you through everything. After you become Chartered your career at Unividual really gets started either as a Technical Specialist or a self-employed financial adviser. The training program is hard work and will require complete commitment in both work but also outside of work as you progress through your exams. If your sole driver is to work in our industry and you want to become the best at what you do we would like to hear from you.
Established in 2000 by founding director John Baxter, Unividual started as a small financial advice business with a big purpose: to move away from this “one size fits all” approach to financial advice and towards a bespoke model covering all of someone’s personal and business finances. John created a business that focused on clients as unique individuals. This is where the name Unividual was derived from and the business has spent 20 years perfecting this financial advice model.
